Description
The issue is related to a potential memory leak in the iwlwifi component of the Linux kernel. If the rx payload length check fails, or if kmemdup() fails, the command response is not properly freed. This can lead to a denial of service. The vulnerability is associated with the iwl rfi get freq table() function in drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/mvm/rfi.c.
