Description The issue is related to an integer overflow in the lpit update residency() function, which can occur when tsc khz is large enough (> UINT MAX/1000). This overflow is due to multiplication and can be avoided by changing the multiplication to mul u32 u32(). The vulnerability may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
