Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to the Linux kernel's udc component, where a warning message can be triggered from the mass storage function. The root cause is that the mass storage function tries to queue a request from the main thread, but another thread may already have disabled the endpoint when the function is disabled. This can lead to a denial of service. The problem is resolved by changing the WARN ON ONCE() in the
usb ep queue() function to pr debug().Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
