Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to a possible memory leak in the
lpfc rcv padisc() function. The call to lpfc sli4 resume rpi() in lpfc rcv padisc() may return an unsuccessful status, leading to the elsiocb resource not being issued, the completion not being called, and thus the elsiocb resource being leaked. This could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
