Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to a component of the Linux kernel's tls, specifically a problem with resource locking in the
tls sw recvmsg() function. This can lead to a denial of service. The vulnerability arises when a reference on the psock is taken before calling tls rx reader lock(), and if the lock fails, the reference is not released, potentially causing a leak. The fix involves taking the reference after the lock has succeeded.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
