Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to the bpf component of the Linux kernel, where an integer overflow can occur when accessing stack memory, potentially leading to out-of-bounds array accesses in the
check stack range initialized() function. This could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. The vulnerability is caused by a missing protection against negative access sizes, which can appear due to overflowing the signed int representation.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
