CVE-2024-27433

CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to a double-free error in the clk mt8135 apmixed probe() function. The clk data is allocated with mtk devm alloc clk data(), and calling mtk free clk data() explicitly in the remove function would lead to a double-free. The error handling path in clk mt8135 apmixed probe() has been fixed by removing the redundant call. This vulnerability may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
