Description The issue is related to the x86/bpf component of the Linux kernel, where incorrect input validation in the emit call() function can lead to a denial of service. The problem arises when the x86 call depth emit accounting function emits code, causing the IP passed to emit patch to calculate an incorrect offset for the CALL instruction, potentially skipping instructions and leading to a crash.
