CVE-2024-27067

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the xen/evtchn component of the Linux kernel and is caused by errors in resource management. When unbinding a user event channel, the related handler might be called a last time if the kernel was built with CONFIG DEBUG SHIRQ, potentially causing a WARN() in the handler. This can be avoided by adding an "unbinding" flag to struct user event, which will short circuit the handler.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
