Description The issue is related to a memory leak in the Linux kernel's drm/amdkfd component, specifically in the kfd create process() function. This leak occurs due to a leaked mmget reference on an error handling code path triggered when attempting to create KFD processes while a GPU reset is in progress. The exploitation of this issue may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.
