Description:
The issue is related to a Heap-based Buffer Overflow that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the current user by using a specially crafted file.
Recommendations:
For InDesign Desktop versions ID18.5.2 through ID19.5, update to a version later than ID19.5 to resolve the issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
