Description:
The Spam protection, Anti-Spam, FireWall by CleanTalk plugin for WordPress is susceptible to unauthorized arbitrary plugin installation. This issue stems from a missing validation of the
api key value within the perform function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to install and activate arbitrary plugins, potentially leading to remote code execution if another vulnerable plugin is present. The vulnerability is related to incorrect handling of exceptional states.Recommendations:
Spam protection, Anti-Spam, FireWall by CleanTalk for WordPress version 6.44 and earlier: Update to a version beyond 6.44 to address the missing empty value check in the
