Description: The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the ASoC component of the Linux kernel. It may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. The problem occurs when a channel is added to multiple dai channel lists, which can corrupt other lists where the channel is already added. A patch has been applied to ensure that a channel is free before being added to the dai channel list and that it is on the list before being deleted.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
