Description: The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the struct qib user sdma pkt fields. Overflowing either addrlimit or bytes togo can allow userspace to trigger a buffer overflow of kernel memory. The vulnerability can be exploited to gain access to confidential information.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
