Description: The issue is related to a use after free vulnerability in the Serial component of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted HTML page, potentially allowing them to execute arbitrary code and exploit heap corruption. The severity of this issue is considered high.
Recommendations: For Google Chrome versions prior to 130.0.6723.116, update to version 130.0.6723.116 or later to resolve the issue. For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
