CVSS v2.0
5.5
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Cisco Evolved Programmable Network Manager (EPNM) and Cisco Prime Infrastructure (affected versions not specified)
Description:
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of the affected software could allow an authenticated, low-privileged, remote attacker to conduct a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the interface. This issue exists because the interface does not properly validate user-supplied input, allowing an attacker to inject malicious code into a specific page. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive browser-based information. The attacker must have at least a low-privileged account on an affected device to exploit this vulnerability.
Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
