CVE-2024-47463
CVSS v2.0
9.0
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Instant AOS versions 8 and 10
Description:
An arbitrary file creation issue exists in the command line interface of Instant AOS-8 and AOS-10. This could allow an authenticated remote attacker to create arbitrary files, potentially leading to remote command execution on the underlying operating system. The vulnerability is related to a lack of restrictions on file uploads.
Recommendations:
For Instant AOS versions 8 and 10, consider restricting access to the command line interface until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the ability to create arbitrary files to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
