Description:
The issue is related to insufficient authentication data verification, allowing a local attacker to escalate their privileges in the system. This could enable arbitrary code execution with root permissions.
Recommendations:
For versions 3.1.1.2 and prior, update to a version that addresses the insufficient authentication data verification issue to prevent privilege escalation and arbitrary code execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
