Description:
The issue is related to the macsec component of the Linux kernel, which causes a resource leak when handling the NETDEV UNREGISTER event due to the underlay driver not being notified to clean its macsec offload resources. This can lead to a denial of service. The fix involves moving offload handling from
macsec dellink() to macsec common dellink() when handling the NETDEV UNREGISTER event.Recommendations:
