Description: The issue is related to a null pointer dereference in the Linux kernel's NFC component. When kmalloc in nfc genl dump devices() fails, nfc genl dump devices done() segfaults. This can lead to a denial of service. The vulnerability is caused by a null pointer dereference in the range [0x0000000000000008-0x000000000000000f]. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not available. There is no information about real-world incidents where this issue was exploited.
