Description: The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. To exploit this problem, user interaction is necessary, as the victim must open a malicious file. The vulnerability is also described as a buffer overflow issue in memory, which can be exploited by an attacker using a specially crafted file.
Recommendations: For Adobe Illustrator versions 29.0.0 through 28.7.2 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
