CVE-2024-54043

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Connect versions 11.4.7 and earlier Adobe Connect version 12.6
Description The issue is related to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It may allow an unauthenticated attacker to execute malicious JavaScript content within the context of a victim's browser if the victim is convinced to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page. The vulnerability is also associated with a lack of protection for the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to elevate privileges and execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For Adobe Connect versions 11.4.7 and earlier, update to a version later than 11.4.7 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Connect version 12.6, update to a version later than 12.6 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available.
