CVE-2024-43727

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier
Description The issue is related to insufficient protection of the web page structure in Adobe Experience Manager, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. This stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields, which may result in the execution of malicious JavaScript in a victim's browser when they access the page containing the vulnerable field.
Recommendations For versions 6.5.21 and earlier, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation of the stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields until a patch is available.
