CVE-2024-43732
CVSS v2.0
5.5
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier
Description
A DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the victim's browser. This occurs when data from a malicious source is processed by a web application's client-side scripts to update the DOM. Exploitation requires user interaction, such as convincing a victim to click on a malicious link.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier, update to a version later than 6.5.21 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting user interaction with potentially malicious links to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
XSS
