Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields, allowing malicious JavaScript to be executed in a victim's browser when they access the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability is associated with insufficient protection of the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier, consider disabling vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. Restrict access to potentially vulnerable web pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
