| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be exploited by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. This could allow malicious JavaScript to be executed in a victim's browser when they access the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability is associated with inadequate protection of the web page structure, which may enable a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier, consider disabling vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. Restrict access to pages that contain vulnerable fields to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using vulnerable form fields in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
