Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Draytek Vigor3900 version 1.5.1.3
Description
The issue is related to the
ldap search dn function in the mainfunction.cgi script of the Draytek Vigor3900 web interface. It allows attackers to inject malicious commands and execute arbitrary commands. This is due to the lack of data sanitization at the management level. Exploitation of this issue can enable a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands.Recommendations
For Draytek Vigor3900 version 1.5.1.3, consider disabling the
ldap search dn function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the mainfunction.cgi script to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
