CVE-2024-46594

CVSS v2.0

7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions DrayTek Vigor version 4.3.2.6
Description The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the saveVPNProfile parameter at the "v2x00.cgi" API endpoint. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input.
Recommendations For version 4.3.2.6, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "v2x00.cgi" API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the saveVPNProfile parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
