| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to insufficient protection of the web page structure in Adobe Experience Manager, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. This is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability, where an attacker can convince a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, allowing malicious JavaScript content to be executed within the context of the victim's browser.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available.
Avoid using URLs that reference vulnerable pages in Adobe Experience Manager until the issue is resolved.
