| Vector | AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description:
The issue is related to the macintosh/via-macii component of the Linux kernel, where the via-macii ADB driver calls request irq() after disabling hard interrupts, which is unnecessary because the VIA shift register interrupt was masked during VIA1 initialization. This may lead to a denial of service.
Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
