Description:
The issue is related to an integer underflow in the analysis of RWZ files, which can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of XnSoft XnView Classic. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability, as the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The problem results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can cause an integer underflow before writing to memory. This allows an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process.
