Description: The issue is related to weaknesses in the authentication procedure of the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools component of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Exploitation of this issue can allow a remote attacker to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. Attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools' accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools' accessible data.

Recommendations: For versions 8.59 through 8.61, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
