Description:
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Adobe InDesign, which could lead to the disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, specifically that a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations:
For versions ID19.5, ID18.5.4 and earlier, consider avoiding the use of potentially malicious files until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, restrict the ability to open files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
