CVE-2024-54039

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Adobe Connect versions 11.4.7 and earlier Adobe Connect version 12.6
Description: The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This could allow an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. When a victim browses to the page containing the vulnerable field, malicious JavaScript may be executed in their browser. The vulnerability is associated with a lack of protection for the web page structure, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to perform XSS attacks by injecting malicious scripts into form fields.
Recommendations: For Adobe Connect version 12.6, update to a version that fixes the stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. For Adobe Connect version 11.4.7 and earlier, update to a version that fixes the stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields until a patch is available.
