CVE-2024-52864

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier
Description: The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability is associated with insufficient protection of the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations: For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier, update to a version later than 6.5.21 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using vulnerable fields in web pages until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no other information about additional mitigation measures.
