| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier
Description:
The issue is related to insufficient protection of the web page structure in Adobe Experience Manager, which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. This is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field.
Recommendations:
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields to minimize the risk of malicious script injection. Avoid using vulnerable fields in the affected Adobe Experience Manager versions until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
