| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The Appointment Booking Calendar — Simply Schedule Appointments Booking Plugin versions up to, and including, 1.6.8.3
Description
The issue is related to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the
accent color and background parameters. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.6.8.3, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue in the
accent color and background parameters. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting user input for these parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation.Fix
