Description The issue is related to DOM-Based Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's Countdown widget due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.8.2, update to a version that includes a complete fix for the issue, as the current version has an incomplete fix.
