CVSS v3.1
3.5
Low
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The URL Shortener | Conversion Tracking | AB Testing | WooCommerce WordPress plugin versions 9.0.2 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to the plugin not sanitizing and escaping some of its settings, which could allow high privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example in multisite setups.
Recommendations
For versions 9.0.2 and earlier, update to version 9.0.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's settings to minimize the risk of exploitation.
