4.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Coronavirus (COVID-19) Notice Message WordPress plugin version 1.1.2
Description The issue concerns the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Notice Message WordPress plugin, which does not properly sanitise and escape some of its settings. This could allow high privilege users, such as administrators, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This issue can occur even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in a multisite setup.
Recommendations For version 1.1.2, update to a version that addresses this issue, as the current version does not properly sanitise its settings, posing a risk of Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
