Description:
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the handling of
freeze mutex during memory mapping BPF map contents with writable permissions. The issue could potentially lead to deadlocks. The resolution involves holding freeze mutex only during writeability checks and bumping the "write active" count for the map, then unlocking the mutex and proceeding with mmap logic.Recommendations:
