CVSS v3.1
7.7
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Issuetrak versions prior to 17.2.2
Description:
A vulnerability exists in the Issuetrak audit component, allowing a low-privileged user to access audit results of other users by exploiting an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability. This enables unauthorized access to sensitive information, including user details, network and hardware information, installed programs, running processes, drives, and printers. Due to improper access controls, an attacker can retrieve audit data belonging to other users, potentially leading to unauthorized data exposure, privacy violations, and security risks.
Recommendations:
For versions prior to 17.2.2, consider restricting access to the audit component to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the privileges of low-privileged users to prevent them from accessing sensitive information.
