CVE-2024-13321

CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: AnalyticsWP plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.0.0
Description: The issue is related to SQL Injection via the custom sql parameter due to insufficient authorization checks on the handle get stats() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into existing queries, potentially extracting sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations: For AnalyticsWP plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.0.0: As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the handle get stats() function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the custom sql parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
