CVE-2025-1657

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: uListing plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.1.7
Description: The issue is related to a missing capability check on the stm listing ajax AJAX action, allowing authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to update post meta data and inject PHP Objects that may be unserialized. This enables them to modify data and potentially execute malicious code.
Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 2.1.7, update to a version above 2.1.7 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the stm listing ajax AJAX action to prevent unauthorized data modification and PHP Object Injection. Additionally, restrict subscriber-level access to minimize the risk of exploitation.
