CVE-2025-2267

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: WP01 plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.6.2
Description: The issue allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to download and read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. This is due to a missing capability check and insufficient restrictions on the make archive() function.
Recommendations: For WP01 plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.6.2, update to a version that includes a fix for the missing capability check and insufficient restrictions on the make archive() function. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the make archive() function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
