Description A buffer overflow in the GuitarPro1::read function allows attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via opening a crafted GuitarPro file.

Recommendations For MuseScore Studio version 4.3.2, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the GuitarPro1::read function until a patch is available. Restrict access to crafted GuitarPro files to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
