Description
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the component /admin/template.php allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via uploading a crafted PHP file. The vulnerability is exploited through the "/admin/template.php" API endpoint, where an attacker can upload a malicious PHP file, potentially leading to code execution.
Recommendations
For emlog pro versions 2.5.0 through 2.5.*, consider disabling the /admin/template.php component until a patch is available to prevent arbitrary file uploads. Restrict access to this component to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using this component for uploading files until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
