Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Custom Twitter Feeds – A Tweets Widget or X Feed Widget plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.2.5
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ctf clear cache admin() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to reset the plugin's cache by tricking a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.2.5, consider disabling the ctf clear cache admin() function until a patch is available to prevent cache reset via forged requests. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
