CVE-2024-9437

CVSS v3.1

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions SuperAGI version v0.0.14
Description SuperAGI version v0.0.14 is vulnerable to an unauthenticated Denial of Service (DoS) attack. The vulnerability exists in the resource upload request, where appending characters, such as dashes (-), to the end of a multipart boundary in an HTTP request causes the server to continuously process each character. This leads to excessive resource consumption and renders the service unavailable. The issue is unauthenticated and does not require any user interaction, impacting all users of the service.
Recommendations For SuperAGI version v0.0.14, sanitize or validate the multipart boundary in resource upload requests to prevent the addition of extraneous characters. As a temporary workaround, consider implementing rate limiting for resource upload requests to mitigate the impact of the DoS attack.
