CVE-2025-1802

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions HT Mega – Absolute Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.8.3
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages via the marker title, notification content, and stt button text parameters. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.8.3, consider restricting access to the marker title, notification content, and stt button text parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, limit the ability of authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts by implementing additional input validation and output escaping for these parameters.
